About WILLIE CARTER

Willie has gained multiple years of coaching experience since completing his Baseball Career He spent two years coaching at Webber International University, where he was a part of building a NAIA World Series caliber team. Carter was also a hitting coach in 2023 at his former High School, while he was there he helped the offense turn into an over .300 batting average team. Over the last year he has transitioned into working full time as hitting instructor with a focus on 1 on 1 training with softball and baseball athletes. 

In 2019, Carter was selected in the MLB Draft. He went in the 34th round to the Atlanta Braves Organization. Carter ended his career with three seasons "played" and a career batting average of .255. In his time in the minor leagues, he tallied 19 home runs, 30 stolen bases, 81 base on balls and 123 RBIs. He was awarded a top 50 prospect in the Atlanta Braves Minor League System in 2021. 

Willie's college career eventually lead him to Webber International University, where he had an astonishing .382 batting average, .706 slugging percentage, .482 on-base percentage, 161 total bases, 87 hits and 19 home runs (School record). Carter finished second on the team with 62 RBIs, 58 runs scored, 39 walks, 13 doubles and two triples. In his time at Webber, he achieved All-American status. 

Willie is a Lake City, FL native and graduated from Fort White High School in 2015. His junior year, he hit .515 with six Home Runs and 20 RBIs. He was also named Florida 4A High School player of the year. After high school, he attended Pensacola State College, where he hit .409 with four homers and 15 RBIs all while drawing 18 walks. He was deemed an all conference player both years at PSC.
